Suceava is part of the old romanian cities. Trough the complexity and the diversity of its urban-specific elements, keeping them troughout the years, trough basic architectural traditions, trough its continuity as trough its renewing monuments, the history of Suceava, both past and present, is directly connected to Romania's history itself.
Of course, architectural creations, and the whole urban culture of Suceava were done inside a specific space, time and ethnicity.
Today, Suceava has a new image, contrasting the old small city.
Suceva has connections with Bucharest (cca. 6 hours) and Iasi (cca. 2 hours) trough DN2/E85 and the western part of the country and Cluj (cca. 4 hours) on DN17/E576. Every day, four InterCity trains connect Suceava to the capital.
Suceava International Airport has three times a week flights to international Carpatair destinations trough Timişoara and four times a week flights to Bucharest Otopeni (Henri Coandă) and Bacău.
